Effective immediately, we now require that all passengers wear a mask or face covering. Our drivers pick up and drop off customers from around the country and world daily and we feel it is necessary to take all precautions to secure the safety and promote the health of both our customers and drivers. You really don't know who your driver was last in contact with and we feel it's in everyone's best interest that these steps be taken along with installing partitions in our vehicles.
QUESTION: Doesn't the partition protect the driver well enough?
ANSWER: Although the separator offers some protection against projectile-styled droplets, it offers very little protection for tiny particles circulating throughout the entire vehicle. It is a divider, not a sealed partition.
No one enjoys wearing a mask. We recently had a driver make a trip to Atlanta and wore a mask the entire time while the passenger choose a face covering, a bandanna.
*****We ask anyone with a cough wear a mask.*****
Hand sanitizer is available upon request.
We've installed a plexiglass partition in our SUV's in order to get drivers scheduled who would otherwise refuse to work unprotected in the limited space of a vehicle.
The plexiglass does not replace the requirement for the mask/face covering. It is an added layer of protection for our most vulnerable clients as we service a lot of the elderly and moms with young children.
It is in our best interest to instruct our drivers to refuse service to passengers who refuse to cooperate with our efforts to help protect everyone.
As everyone is aware, a healthy driver is able to work, support their families and most importantly, will not be a risk to the passengers he/she transports.
Together we can all get through this and look forward to returning back to BETTER than normal and back to operating without these requirements, In the meantime, WE APPRECIATE EVERYONE'S UNDERSTANDING, SUPPORT AND FULL COOPERATION!!
